Mullein Leaf Extract and BreathiZen®
Mullein leaf is the first plant on the BreathiZen label, a tall herb with soft, woolly leaves.*
About Mullein Leaf Extract
Mullein stands tall in sunny fields, on dry slopes and beside country roads. Its leaves are broad and covered in fine hairs, which makes them feel like flannel. In its second summer it grows a tall spike of small yellow flowers. Herbal traditions have used the leaves for many generations.
Where it comes from
After harvest the leaves are dried and concentrated. A 10:1 extract uses about ten parts of dried leaf for every one part of extract. In BreathiZen the extract is part of the spray blend, so there is nothing to steep.
Its role in the formula
Mullein leaf comes first because BreathiZen is made to support open airways and healthy lung function.* It leads the Supplement Facts panel.
